What do you actually do for your clients? Remember, this doesn’t have to be for money. When I mention services, I am including things like helping them take better care of their hair at home by sharing professional tips hack or even helping them stick to a healthier beauty routine by encouraging them to drink more water.
Your services are everything that gives your prospective client something from your expertise or from your life experience. It also includes what you do specifically that sets you apart. You customize your unique services based on where someone is in the process and what their needs really are. For example, in my marketing career, one of my advantages was that I solely focus on beauty businesses and that I have built an expertise with online beauty services and products way before COVID-19 forced everyone to be online. That specialization helped create trust as beauty business entrepreneurs know that I'm not only a marketer but also a beauty expert all around.
